Have you dreamed of making history? Of course, we all have. And now we have a chance to be a part of your community’s day of giving – an opportunity to unite our community around causes in which we truly believe and help nonprofit organizations connect to the larger community.
We need your help! Please join our campaign to Give Extra! We need you to tell your friends and family members about the important work we do and ask them to join us in helping to make a difference.
Get ready to give! On November 22, visit extragive.org and make a donation to us and/or to any of the great participating nonprofit organizations in your community. All giving will end at 11:59PM on November 22, so make sure to get your gift in on time!

Tandem Living is excited to announce a generous match donated by Larry and Janice Booz, the daughter and son-in-law of Vernon and Angela Stinebaugh. Vernon and Angela lived under the care of Woodcrest Villa and Trillium Place for 14 years. Larry and Janice watched their parents thrive at Woodcrest Villa for many years. However, as Vernon and Angela aged in place, their needs began to shift.
Janice recounts, “At Woodcrest, two years ago in December we were already beginning to spend more time with my parents as day to day tasks became difficult. Through this time, I contacted the resident services coordinator about our concerns. She was responsive right away, always available to chat, and ready with resources and ideas as we began to navigate the increasing needs of my parent’s.”
Vernon and Angela moved to Trillium Place (formerly Mennonite Home) during the latter part of 2023. “Once we had moved my parents to Trillium Place we found many very helpful people as we navigated the changes,” Janice stated.
Vernon and Angela received compassionate, high quality care for the next several months until their passing’s in February and July of 2024. At the time of their passing, Vernon had reached 105 and Angela was two weeks shy of her 105th birthday.
Larry and Janice are incredibly thankful for the staff at Tandem Living and the care their parents received, “you have great people in the right situations. We are so grateful.”
